Christina Kracht is a Licensed Aesthetician, LPN, and wax specialist with hundreds (if not thousands) of waxes under her belt, committed to providing her guests with the most comfortable, efficient, and detailed wax they've ever had, whether it's their first time or they're a waxing veteran.

Christina cares about each one of her guests, and strives to make each waxing experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Her guest satisfaction is of utmost importance to her!
At Art District Aesthetics, we specialize in Brazilian waxing, and eyebrow design. We offer full face and body waxing services using Berodin and Miss Cire hard and soft wax.
We begin each eyebrow wax with a detailed consultation, to make sure our guest gets exactly what they want. We walk them through each step of the wax and aftercare protocol while maintaining the highest sanitation practices.
The compliments we love hearing from our first time guests are "it really wasn't that bad", "you have a very light hand", and "I love my eyebrows" but the most rewarding part of our job is watching our guests strut out of the studio with a huge smile, looking amazing, and feeling confident as ever!

We are looking forward to meeting you at her new studio location, located at:
56 Edwards Village Blvd, #220, Edwards, CO 81632

Preparing
Preparing the skin for a wax
Stop shaving/plucking 3 weeks prior to your wax. Longer hair (grain of rice length or 1/4 of an inch) allows the wax to get a better grip.
Gently exfoliate the area that will be waxed the day before your reservation. This removes dead skin and allows for a closer wax.
Skin can be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle, so consider booking in between your cycles. We are certainly able to perform a Brazilian wax during your cycle, as long as there is a fresh tampon inserted.
Avoid significant amounts of caffeine and alcohol before your wax to prevent sensitivity. You may take an over the counter analgesic; whatever you would normally take for a headache, about 1 hour prior to your wax.
Caring for the skin after the wax
Just-waxed skin is always a bit more sensitive. Wearing loose, thin clothing won’t irritate your skin like restrictive or thick, stiff fabrics will.
Avoid bacteria (touching), friction, sweating, swimming, and heat, 24-48 hours after a Brazilian wax.
Examples include saunas, exercise, hot tubs, and sex. We want to keep the area clean, dry, and cool. If any of these accidentally occur, wash the area with cool water and a gentle soap.
Use an exfoliant and a good moisturizer to prevent ingrown hairs.
Waxed hair grows back tapered, with a thinner point, as opposed to shaved hair, which is cut it at its widest point.
That is why shaved stubble feels more coarse than waxed hair growing out. The weak, tapered tip of the previously waxed hair is more prone to staying under the skin creating ingrowns.
I strongly recommend exfoliating with a gentle scrub two to three times a week, and using a chemical exfoliant daily, post shower, followed by a moisturizer.
